Talented teenage Canadian-Croatian racing driver Marco Kacic just recently signed with JMF Motorsports/Conquest Racing after being one of two drivers selected from a driver search.

For 2021, Marco will be piloting an AMG GT4 for JMF Motorsports/Conquest Racing.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the Canadian-Croatian teenager but there is even more great news. Thanks to Marco’s sponsor, Lordco Auto Parts, he will also be reuniting with Doran Motorsports Group in 2021. DMG and Marco shared great success in 2019 when they won the F4 FPUSA Championship together. DMG is expanding to F3 competition in 2021 by competing in the F3 FPUSA and have named Marco Kacic as their driver.

“To say that I’m excited for 2021 would be an understatement,” stated Marco, “when COVID-19 hit last year, it greatly affected my racing. After being out of a car for a full year, I started thinking that my race journey was over. Everything my family and I have worked so hard for seemed to be crashing down. When I found out that I was one of six drivers chosen for the JMF Motorsports driver search, I was super excited! Being one of the two drivers selected from the driver search was a dream come true. To find out that I will also have the opportunity to race in the F3 FPUSA series with my team from 2019 is truly mind blowing! There are no words to express how grateful I am for the opportunities I have before me for 2021.”

The two schedules do not conflict so Marco will be able to compete in both series.

With the current travel restrictions, and Marco’s busy race and testing schedule, he has made the decision to move to California for the race season.

There is a lot going on for Marco these days, with the move to the USA and his new racing opportunities, but he is always quick to thank the people that have made these opportunities possible. “There are so many people to thank. I would not be in this position if it were not for John Farrow, Danny Kok, Eric Batchelart, Jerry Kroll, Francois Doran, Lordco Auto Parts, and my super supportive family and friends.”

Born in Kelowna, BC, Canada to parents with Croatian heritage, Marco is proud of his Croatian roots.
