Alongside destinations like Istanbul, Singapore, and Milan, the Croatian capital Zagreb has made it onto Fine Dining Lovers’ list.

As Dobra hrana writes, gastro portal Fine Dining Lovers released a list of gastronomically significant destinations that could be hits in 2024.

Alongside Toronto, Valletta, Istanbul, Singapore, Milan, and Miami, Zagreb found its place on the list.

Author Hugo McCafferty describes it as a city that has long flown under the radar, as has Croatia in general, but is now finally receiving the attention it deserves.

“The whole country has a lot to offer, from Dalmatia and mountains to Istria and a beautiful coast dotted with islands, and Zagreb is the perfect place to start a foodie tour through Croatia,” he writes, highlighting the city’s charm and particularly emphasising its architecture and the history behind it.

As recommended spots in Zagreb, he mentions Noel, where he says they offer a well-executed and presented tasting menu, then advises heading to Plešivica for dinner and enjoying wines at Korak.
