Croatian rifle legend Snježana Pejčić wins World Cup gold medal

28 April 2019 – Croatian rifle legend Snježana Pejčić has won gold at the 2019 ISSF World Cup in Beijing, almost breaking a world record in the process.  

Pejčić won the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women Final on Sunday after scoring 1177 points in qualification and an impressive 464.0 points in the final. 

Sang Hee Bar from the Republic of Korea took silver with 459.5 points in the final, whilst Jeanette Hegg Duestad from Norway won bronze with 447.1 points in the final.

From Rijeka in Croatia, 36-year-old Pejčić has been a true legend of the sport, winning 17 World Cup medals in her career, including 8 golds and an Olympic bronze in Beijing.
