Who Is The Most Successful Croatian Model?

There is no doubt who the most successful Croatian model in the world is at the moment. Swiss-born Croatian Valerija Sestic (17) has taken the modelling world by storm. For just the 2013/2104 autumn-winter season Valerija has already modelled collections for Marc Jacobs, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Matthew Williamson, Oscar de la Renta and Helmut Lang. She has also appeared in H&M and Pull and Bear ad campaigns and is currently in Paris working on new projects.

“I am satisfied with everything I have done. The best moments for me last season was when I appeared at Fashion Week in Milan, I then had to go back to Switzerland to school, then a few days later I was exclusively booked to do a Louis Vuitton show in Paris,” Sestic told Büro 24/7, adding that it was a fantastic feeling when she found out she was selected to model at Marc Jacobs collection review .

Sestic’s career in the world of modelling begun when she was spotted in Zagreb, Croatia by modelling agent Tihana Harapin-Zalepugin whilst she was visiting her grandparents. Born in Bern, Sestic says that her favourite fashion designer is Versace and hopes one day to grace the cover of Vogue Magazine.
