[VIDEO] Record-Breaking Bura Blowing Havoc Along the Croatian Coast

Rain and winds of up to 240 km/h have blown down trucks, trees, facades, umbrellas, kiosks and even the roof off a school building in its wake in parts of exposed areas on Thursday. For the first time in their history the Split Naval Meteorological Centre forecasted for some parts of the Adriatic winds in excess of 100 knots. On Crometeos’s official Facebook page they reported that winds over 240 km/h were recorded on Velebit.
