Pelegrini, which is located in the Dalmatian town of Šibenik, has for the second year in a row taken out the ‘Best Restaurant in Croatia’ award at the the 2016 Dobri restorani awards…

After behind closed doors voting from hundreds of top players on the Croatian gastro scene, the winners of the best restaurant and chef in Croatia for 2016 were announced at a reception at Zagreb’s Esplanade hotel.

Pelegrini, who have been at the very top of Croatia’s, and Europe’s gastro scene, took out the title for the second year in a row. Zagreb favourite Dubravkin put was in second place, with another Zagreb restaurant, Bistro Apetit, claiming third place. Bevanda in Opatija was fourth.
