RECORD: 14 Million Tourists in Croatia in First 10 Months

The 2015 tourist season has been the best on record for Croatia. The latest tourism statistics are in for the year up until the end of October, and according to the data the 2015 tourist season has been the best on record for Croatia…
From 1 January until 31 October 2015 there have been 14 million tourists visit Croatia, creating 78 million overnight stays. When compared to the same period last year, there has been growth of 7%, Minister of Tourism Darko Lorencin announced on Friday.

The most overnight stays this year have been recorded in the Istria region, followed by the Split-Dalmatia County, Kvarner, Zadar and Dubrovnik-Neretva County. The month of October saw 5% more tourists than October 2014.

Germans still make up the most number of tourists in Croatia, followed by Slovenians, Austrians, Czechs and Italians.
