Nominees are currently sought for the Croatian of the Year in the diaspora.

The 2024 Cardinal Stepinac – Croatian of the Year distinction celebrates remarkable Croatians residing outside Croatia, whose generous efforts, contributions, and/or charitable acts have significantly impacted Croatia and their local Croatian community.

The organisers of the award urge individuals to propose the most tireless and selfless patriots from their community for this year’s recognition.

“The award aims to promote values, particularly the love for God, family, and our Homeland,” remarked the organisers. They further stated, “Let us unite to pay tribute to our devoted, compassionate patriots who have devoted themselves to the advancement of Croatia and its people, whether within our country or in Croatian communities worldwide.”

Nominations can be submitted via email to: [email protected]

The nomination deadline is February 5, 2024.

Previous recipients of the award include the late Miljenko Mike Grgich from the USA, Marko Franovic in Australia, and Vuk Buljan from Germany.
