Medveščak Sign NHL Veteran

CroatiaCroatia’s KHL ice hockey club Medveščak have signed 30-year-old NHL veteran, Canadian Brandon Segal…

The former Los Angeles Kings and Tampa Bay Lightning right-wing, who has over 100 NHL games under his belt and 2 Calder Cups, will join the Zagreb side for the upcoming 2014-2015 season.

“Brandon is a powerful right-winger who plays with a lot of energy, who at the same time can score goals. He is the type of player we have not had on our roster till now. We need his style of play which is something I think we missed last season,” the club’s sports director Aaron Fox said.
