Mandzukic Becomes German Bundesliga Top Scorer With Brace

A brace from Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic in his sides 3-0 win over Mainz has helped extend Bayern Munich’s lead at the top of Germany’s Bundesliga to 14 points, and made him the top goalscorer in the league.

Mandzukic, who is keeping German International Mario Gomez on the bench, scored his 13th and 14th goal of the season to become the league’s top scorer. “We are doing what we also did well in the first half of the season,” said Mandzukic, who has now scored his fifth goal in three games.
