First Croatian Food Truck Festival to take place in Zagreb in July

ZAGREB, 17 June 2020 – The first Croatian Food Truck Festival will take place in the capital next month.  

From the entertainment factory behind one of the largest summer festivals on the Adriatic coast, Fresh Island Festival brings Zagreb Food Truck Festival to the streets of the capital. 

The first Croatian Food Truck Festival will take place from July 1 to July 5 at Zagreb’s Lake Jarun. 

The food trucks,  offering a range of delicious snacks and drinks, will be set up on a meadow next to the Aquarius Club at Lake Jarun. There will be an entertainment programme during the day and in the evening.

The opening of the festival takes place on Wednesday, July 1 with an after-work picnic with socialising from 4 pm with performances by DJs, various gastronomic presentations, animations for children, and from 7 p.m. a Summer Cinema concert where visitors can bust some moves. 

During the five days of the festival, the Truck Live stage will be occupied by top street and professional musicians and bands such as the Ljetno kino, Joe Panda & Banda, Scifidelity Orchestre, Public Hit Factory, Gypsy Groove and many others.

A number of top Zagreb DJs will also play during the breaks between the live concerts. On July 3 and 4, the party will continue at after-parties after midnight on the terrace of the Aquarius club.

All events and concerts at the Zagreb Food Truck Festival are free for visitors. Concerts start at 7 p.m. each night.  More information about the festival and schedule are available on the official website.
