Felix Magath Meets with Dinamo Zagreb Boss

fmCroatian champions Dinamo Zagreb have begun negotiations with former German midfield and record-breaking manager of Bayern Munich Felix Magath to take over the Zagreb club.

Magath attended the PSV Eindhoven v Dinamo Zagreb (2-0) UEFA Europa league match last night, after earlier in the day having lunch with Dinamo Zagreb’s Executive Director Zdravko Mamić in a hotel in downtown Eindhoven. Dinamo Zagreb are currently on the look out for a new boss after sacking Branko Ivanković last month after just 8 games in charge.

“We will see what comes of it, nothing has been agreed yet,” Zoran Mamić told reporters yesterday, confirming that the first meeting between the club and Magath had taken place.

Magath. who took Bayern Munich to the league and cup double – twice, has managed Hamburg SV, Nuremberg, Werder Bremen, Eintracht Frankfurt, VfB Stuttgart, and Schalke 04.
