€16 Million BIOCentar Opens in Zagreb

The BIOCentar, located at the former Borongaj army barracks, is designed as an active factor in ensuring a productive relationship between basic and applied scientific research and the economy, technology infrastructure and new bio-technology companies in the development process.

The centre will provide laboratories available for rent, access to top quality equipment and other necessary facilities. The centre will also be a place where one can get the necessary advice for development a company in the field of biosciences. The BioCentar will connect scientific groups and the industry with the aim of commercializing technology. It will also invest heavily in training companies in the field of biotechnology to become competitive in the market.
