Dubrovnik to Host Regional Entrepreneurs Summit ‘TOP 300’

Dubrovnik, January 26th 2016 – According to last year’s tradition, from March 4th to March 6th Dubrovnik will host the 2nd Regional summit of entrepreneurs of Central and Southeastern Europe called the “TOP 300”. It is an event whose primary objective is to promote the importance of entrepreneurship for the overall economic and social development.

“The Summit has no pretensions to gather three hundred participants, there are not even as many top entrepreneurs. The organizer of the event – the International Economic Forum (MEF) “PERSPECTIVES” with its headquarters in Dubrovnik, in collaboration with numerous partners, however, expects that the number of participants will be about 150 entrepreneurs from ten different countries from Central and Southeastern Europe. Of course, among them can be found many of the best and most successful entrepreneurs and managers, ” said Prof. dr. Jugoslav Jovicic, from Bosnia and Herzegovina, President of the Programme Council Summit.

The main activity of the Summit is to promote culture of entrepreneurship, focus the public’s attention on the successful entrepreneurial ventures and reward the best ones and all those who contribute to its progress. In this spirit, for the second time in the history of this organization, prestigious prizes and awards „CREATORS FOR THE CENTURY“ will be given to those who have contributed to the development of entrepreneurship of Central and Southeastern Europe.

About this exceptional project, prof. Dr. Sinisa Zaric, President of the International Independent Committee for the prizes and awards, “CREATORS FOR THE CENTURY”, which consists of 16 experts in economics, marketing, management, finance and entrepreneurship from nine European countries, said: “This year, prizes and awards “CREATORS FOR THE CENTURY” will go into the hands of those most deserving. They are the heroes of today and tomorrow, they are the key factor for the development of an environment in which they operate, but also in global terms. I am extremely happy that this year “CREATORS FOR THE CENTURY” go to a dozen countries and provide additional impetus to the laureates in the creation of the general welfare.”

Regional summit of entrepreneurs of Central and Southeastern Europe “TOP 300”, among others, will be attended by: Branko Roglić, owner of “ORBICO” group of Zagreb (Croatia) which, with a turnover of one billion euros, operates with 18 companies in 17 countries; Dragoljub Vukadinovic, president and creator of the Serbian economic miracle company “METAL” Gornji Milanovac (Serbia); Tanja Skaza, owner and CEO of a very successful company “PLASTIC SKAZA” Velenje (Slovenia); Svetozar Janevski, CEO of the winery “Tikves” Kavadarci and Investment group “M6” Skopje (Macedonia), prof. Dr. Reinhard Priebe (Germany), former high-ranking official of the European Commission, who is also an honorary member of the MEF “PERSPECTIVES”, Dr. Franz Shausberger (Austria), an honorary member of the MEF, “PERSPECTIVE” and Chairman of the Institute of Europe of the regions of Salzburg and others.

It is also important to note the arrival of representatives of relevant ministries of countries in the region and members of the diplomatic corps in the Republic of Croatia.
