The Croatian Football Federation (HNS) unveiled the new home and away kits of the Croatian national football team on Monday in Zagreb.

The new shirts will be worn by the current World Cup bronze medalists in the upcoming cycle, which includes the upcoming Euro 2024 in Germany.

Despite some mixed reactions from fans, especially the new home kit which has moved away from the traditional look, sales for the new kits have flown out the door.

“The new jerseys of the Croatian national football team, which were available for pre-order from March 18th on the official HNS online store (shop.hns.family), quickly found their owners in record time. In fact, within the first 24 hours, the entire first batch of Match and Stadium jerseys, designated for pre-orders, are now being delivered,” HNS said today.

“The Croatian checkers make our jersey unique, especially the home kit this time with its large red and white squares, and I must admit that I am extremely pleased when I see this new shirt live. I also like the attractive design of the reserve jersey which, thanks to its angled squares, takes me back to 1998 and the legendary Vatreni who became an inspiration to many young footballers, including myself,” said the captain of the Croatian national team, Luka Modrić.
