Konjuh (16) will make her senior Grand Slam debut against the tournament’s 4th seed Na Li when the event kicks off on Monday. The Dubrovnik-born former US and Australian Junior Open champion demolished Savčuk 6-0, 6-3 in just 58 minutes to secure her birth in the main draw. A massive achievement for the huge talent that many predict will become a top 10 player in women’s tennis in the future.
