Croatian first division side NK Rijeka have christened their new stadium against NK Lokomotiva in a HNL round 4 match on Sunday night…
The 5,000-seat Rujevica stadium was sold out on Sunday evening as the club played its first match at its new temporary base whilst their new Kantrida stadium is being built.
The Rujevica stadium, complete with four pitches, a mini-pitch, and a majestic view of the pristine Adriatic sea, could well be a front-runner in the ‘stadium with the best view’ awards. NK Rijeka will use the new stadium until Kantrida stadium is complete (mid 2016).

When they make the move to the new Kantrida stadium, Rujevica stadium will be used as part of the club’s Training Camp.
