Carasman continues to win awards with its range of gin

After winning three gold and one bronze medal at the Ginistra 2023 international gin festival, the Zagreb company Carasman won the Great Golden Charter in the distilled dry gin category with Carasman: Jack Herer gin at the 23rd Show of Domestic Brandies in Hum.

“As many as 35 producers with 190 representative samples of spirits participated in this year’s show of domestic brandies in Hum. This is exactly why we are extremely proud, because it is no small achievement to take home the gold in such strong competition, especially when you consider that we are beginners in the production of gin,” says Igor Šeler, co-founder of Carasman.

There are many reasons to be satisfied with the success achieved, as the initiators of the Carasman brand, consisting of Igor Šeler and Siniša Uštulica, only started producing the popular drink at the beginning of the year.

It is important to emphasise that the very beginning of production was preceded by a long and complex preparation, and that an important role in the development of the recipe was played by Dr. Marko Fabić, an Istrian expert in distillates.

The result of this collaboration is an exclusive collection of gins enriched with infused terpenes from cannabis.

A unique recipe

In its offer, Carasman has four exclusive gins – Orange Turbo, Jack Herer, Blueberry Kush, 10K Jack and the great delicacy Terranino+ liqueur.

All Carasman’s gins in the basic preparation contain as many as 16 herbal supplements that are the basis for infusing terpenes from tested and high-quality cannabis strains. This unique recipe guarantees completely new, enchanting flavors and aromas that work equally well when gin is drunk on its own, in the popular combination with tonic or as part of sumptuous, multi-layered cocktails.

The added terpene ingredients have previously been stripped of all cannabinoids, so users are not in danger of experiencing any intoxication other than alcohol.
