“This is the fourth Christmas tree we have given to one of our sister cities, and I hope that it will further inflame the flame of friendship,” said the Mayor of the Croatian capital Milan Bandić.
Budapest Mayor Istvan Tarlos thanked Bandić for the big Christmas tree, which will sit in Karoly square in Budapest over the Christmas and New Years period. The tree has been decorated with more than 500 hundred Licitar hearts, a symbol of Zagreb.
