Zadar Airport Passes 100,000 Passengers for the First Time

The airport, which is also one of the bases of Irish low-cost airline Ryanair, has seen growth in passenger numbers every month since the season started on 1 April. Zadar airport reported that in July there was an increase in passenger numbers of 10.6% compared to the same period last year, and for the first time in its history it broke the 100,000 mark in a month. In July the airport transported 104,349 passengers, the first time ever that it passed 100,000 in a month.

“We are expecting that during August and September, and till the end of the season in the first week of November, that our planes, which connect Zadar with 46 destinations across Europe, will continue to be busy and that we come close to reaching 500,000 passengers for the season,” said the airport’s director Irena Ćosić.
