World’s Best Beach Volleyball Players In Town

The world’s best young beach volleyball players are in Croatia currently battling it out at the 13th edition of the FIVB Beach Volleyball U21 World Championships in the northern Adriatic town of Umag.

Both the men’s and women’s event, held at Stella Maris, kicked off on Wednesday and will culminate with finals day on Sunday. Gustavo Albrecht Carvalhaes and Allison Cittadin Francioni from Brazil are the men’s tournament favourites ahead of Poland’s Michal Bryl and Kacper Kujawiak. Switzerland are one of the title favourites in the women’s event.
