VIDEO: New promo tourism film “More Than Beauty” for Šibenik-Knin County unveiled

The Šibenik-Knin County Tourist Board recently unveiled its premier promotional tourism film titled “More Than Beauty”. 

Designed to boost brand awareness among tour operators and end-users alike, the film, spanning just under five minutes, showcases the natural wonders of this Croatian region. 

From the numerous beaches, coves, and unique Kornati Islands to the hinterland defined by the Dinaric Mountains and the Krka River, the film paints a vivid picture of the county’s diverse landscapes.

In catering to the modern tourist’s interests in varied experiences and the exploration of something new, the film also highlights the rich cultural heritage spanning from Illyrian and Roman times through the Middle Ages. 

It features numerous fortresses, UNESCO-protected cultural monuments, the St. Nicholas Fortress, and the St. James Cathedral. Undoubtedly, a crucial aspect of this tradition is the gastronomy, a flourishing scene in recent years, showcased prominently in the film.

Addressing the common claim that “..our tourism lacks various outdoor activities and entertainment,” the film engagingly refutes this notion. It vividly portrays numerous sports, entertainment, and adrenaline-packed activities and programs offered by the Šibenik-Knin County.

The various tourism offerings are presented through three shorter, thematic one-minute films: “More than sea, sailing, and sun,” “More than heritage, delicious food, and fine wine,” and “More than sports, adrenaline, and fun.”

Featuring actors from the Šibenik National Theatre ensemble, Franka Klarić and Bojan Brajčić, the film convincingly and originally showcases what visitors to the county can see, taste, and experience. Emphasis is placed on understanding the expectations of tourists on holiday, with the film answering the question in a witty manner: More than expectation – jump into your vacation.
