VIDEO: Hotel Marjan demolished, ready for new five-star replacement

Hotel Marjan in Split has now been demolished and everything is ready for the construction of a new five-star Hotel Marjan. 

The new five-star will have 285 accommodation units over 15 floors. The accommodation units will be located on the upper floors and almost all will have sea views. 

Those in the lower part of the building will have terraces or balconies. The congress hall in the hotel will be able to accommodate up to 500 people, whilst there will be a wellness area, including a 140 m2 indoor pool, an exercise area and a spa area with saunas, relaxation areas and massage rooms.

A fine-dining restaurant will be located on the roof of the lower part, which will be accessible, apart from through the hotel, also through a separate entrance, and will be able to accommodate a total of 100 guests. It will also have a covered terrace with a view towards Split.

There will also be a garage with 285 parking spaces located in the basement.

The investment in the renovation of Hotel Marjan, worth more than 100 million euros, will be one of the largest single investments in Croatian tourism.

The investors, Adris Group, say that doors to the new hotel should open in 2026.
