On the southern part of the Makarska Riviera, at the foothill of the Biokovo mountain on the Dalmatian coast lies Živogošće.
Živogošće, which has been inhabited since Illyrian and Roman times, is comprised of three smaller places on the coast – Porat, Mala & Velika Duba and Blato.
