[VIDEO] Barcelona’s Croatian Teen Steals the Show – 26 Baskets in 21 Minutes

Mario_HezonjaDubrovnik-born teenager Mario Hezonja (19) has impressed NBA scouts after turning on the magic for his side Barcelona in their 91-63 victory over La Bruixa d’Orom in the ACB league..

The former FIBA Europe Young Men’s Player of the Year nominee scored 26 points in just 21 minutes on the court in a performance that got the Spanish media singing his praises. Hezonja, who played for the gold medal winning Croatian under 16 team and is one of the top prospects for the 2014 NBA Draft in June, nailed 4 out of 5 ‘3-pointers’, made 5 rebounds, and dazzled with an ‘alley-oop’ during his 20 minutes on  court.  Mario joined Barcelona just over one and a half years ago from KK Zagreb and has played on average around 10 minutes per match this season in the Spanish championship.
