“The Vacation You Deserve Is Closer Than You Think” is a new communication campaign by the Croatian National Tourist Board, which will be launched in neighbouring markets at the end of this week and early June, on all key online and offline communication channels.
“The finalisation of media plans for those markets whose citizens are likely to be able to visit Croatia after the opening of the borders in their countries. These are loyal tourists from our neighbouring countries such as Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Germany, Italy and Poland. A direct and intensive advertising campaign has been prepared for them,” said CNTB Director Kristjan Staničić.
Also, a new platform EnjoyTheViewFromCroatia was launched
“We have created an online platform i.e. a communication “window” that can be used by all Croatian tourism professionals for their own promotion. The campaign focuses mainly on our essential markets from which guests may not be able to travel to Croatia in the near term, due to the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Countries such as the UK, Scandinavian countries, France, Italy, but also distant markets like China, the US and South Korea,” said CNTB Director Kristjan Staničić inviting all tourism stakeholders to engage in the campaign and send their unforgettable view from Croatia.
For the purposes of the campaign, a new website and Instagram profile were created where one can find beautiful “views from Croatia”. Participation and content creation for the platform is open to all accommodation provider, owners of catering facilities, catering staff, agency employees, members of the tourist boards, residents of the tourist destinations, and others involved in Croatian tourism. They can send a photo or video that they believe best showcases the beauty of Croatia and entices guests to visit their destination, no matter if it is a view of the sea, sunset, meadow, square, street, or a city corner.
