One event at this years festival has even captured the interest of international media, with the BBC sending over a reporter to Zagreb to cover the annual Street Cleaners Race, writes Vecernji list. The city centre rubbish collectors are put through their paces in the race, with their speed and expertise thrilling crowds during the race around Zagreb’s main square.

Clowns, jugglers, acrobats and musicians will perform over 300 hours of street entertainment on 7 stages during this year’s Cest is d’Best which ends on Thursday. (pic: Vecernji list)
