Stipe Miocic Gets UFC Heavyweight Title Fight

33-year-old Croatian-American mixed martial artist Stipe Miocic will have an opportunity in two weeks to become the UFC heavyweight champion…

UFC President Dana White announced overnight that Miocic will replace former two-time heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez in the UFC 196 heavyweight title fight with champion Fabricio Werdum. Velasquez has been ruled out with a back injury.

Miocic will now take on Werdum for the title at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on 6 February.

Miocic took to Twitter to tell fans that he will be ready for the fight.
