The Istrian town of Poreč will be going off this summer thanks to over 100 different happenings…

Organisers and partners have presented this summer’s Poreč Open Air – Festival of Life, which will bring the town to life from 9 June to 10 September with over 100 different events. The aim of the festival is enrich the offerings for tourists and locals and bring a new spirit to Poreč through music, culture and street events during the 3-month period.

Tourists and locals will be able to enjoy free weekly jazz and R & B concerts, DJ sets, movie projections under the stars, theatre and street performances. Some well know stars set to perform during the festival will be named shortly.

The festival, which will provided entertainment for young, old, and families, is organised by MPG, and supported by the City of Poreč, Poreč Tourist Board and main sponsor Valamar Riviera.

“Our intention is to raise the competitiveness of Poreč tourism. Hotels and the sea is not enough today, tourists are looking for adventure and fun and they will have that in abundance and at a high level this year, said Valamar CEO Željko Kukurin.

One of the main attractions during the festival will be the movie night in the garden of the stunning Villa Polesini each week, with films to suit all ages and tastes. For more info check out the official website here.
