A month-long exhibition of 8-metre high sculptures of cartoon heroes Transformers made out of scrap metal has opened in the Croatian capital Zagreb…

The 8 ‘Transformers’, which are being exhibited at F.Tuđman park (Square of French Republic) in Zagreb, are the creation of artist Danilo Baletić. The concept of the exhibition is not only to provided a background for a ‘selfie’, but is to emphasis the revival and transformation of waste through in a creative way.

Baletić, like so many other kids, grew up loving the 1980s cartoon series and made the ‘Transformers’ over the past few years from scrap metal he has collected from a junkyard in Podgorica, Montenegro, where he is originally from. The exhibition is free and open 24 hours.
