The Croatian Football Federation organised a full-day event called “Vatreni Monday,” during which the Croatian national team players mingled with numerous fans and competed in a 3-a-side street soccer tournament.
Held at City Center One West in Zagreb, the Croatian national football team gave their devoted fans, who numbered in the thousands, a day to remember.
The “Street football powered by PSK” tournament was played by the Vateni, with the team of Andrej Kramarić, Borna Sosa, and Lovro Majer, led by coach Iva Olivari, claiming the title.
In the final, they defeated the midfield maestros – Luka Modrić, Mateo Kovačić, and Marcelo Brozović. As they had announced after, everyone on the field gave their all against each other, so there was no shortage of excitement.
Zlatko Dalić’s squad spent most of their time with the youngest fans on the day, patiently signing autographs and taking photos, creating unforgettable memories for the young fans.
The day concluded with a formal collaboration agreement with Sport Vision: the contract was officially signed by the President of the Croatian Football Federation, Marijan Kustić, and the CEO of Sport Vision for Croatia, Zdravko Vuko.
A great evening with the fans was complemented by Luka Modrić, Ivan Perišić, Mateo Kovačić, Joško Gvardiol, and Dominik Livaković, who patiently signed fan memorabilia at Sport Vision for over an hour, while fans waited for their turn.
Vatreni Monday also served as an opportunity to introduce the new webshop of the Croatian Football Federation, available at shop.hns.family, where fans can find an expanded range of products related to the Croatian national team and HNS.
In addition to numerous activities for the youngest fans, with the patronage of PSK, visitors could undergo important medical examinations for healthy sports participation throughout the working day, free of charge.
