Over 10,000 Flock To See Picasso In Zagreb In Just 2 Days

Visitors from neighbouring Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the rest of Europe have descended on Croatia’s metropolis to check out over 670 million euros worth of masterpieces from Pablo Picasso. Over 10,000 people have in just two days have visited the PICASSO – Masterpieces from Musée National Picasso, Paris exhibition which opened at Zagreb’s Klovic Palace Art Gallery on 23 March.

56 paintings and 40 sculptures from the collection of Pablo Picasso are in Zagreb and will be exhibited until 7 July. The gallery expected around 100,000 visitors to the exhibition, but that figure looks set to be broken, making it the most successful exhibition ever held in the gallery.
