NHL Star Signs For Croatian Club

NHL Ice Hockey star Dustin Jeffrey from the Pittsburgh Penguins has signed a deal with Zagreb club Medvescak today.

“Bringing a NHL player to Zagreb has been realised because of the help of the club’s sponsor PAN, and I want to openly say that without their support, bringing a NHL player to Zagreb would not be possible”, said the club’s president Damir Gojanovic, writes Jutarnji List.

The centre, who also plays left-wing, has joined the Croatian club, who play in EBHL, due to the current NHL lockout and will return to Pittsburgh at the end of the lockout.
