Croatian international Ivan Perišić (34) has returned to his former club Hajduk Split.

Perišić was presented by Hajduk Split on Friday afternoon. The Tottenham player has moved to Hajduk on loan until the end of the season with the option to sign a one-year contract next season.

His comes off contract with the London club at the end of June, making him a free agent.

Perišić returns to the club where it all began. Perišić arrived at Hajduk back in 2000 as an 11-year-old boy and went through the youth ranks there.

He then went on to play for Sochaux, Roeselare, Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Inter, Bayern, and Tottenham.

In his career at the club level, he has scored 98 goals and 99 assists in 465 matches. For the Croatian national team, he made his debut on March 26, 2011, in a qualifying match against Georgia, and since then, he has earned 129 caps and scored 33 goals for the Croatian national team.

He is the third most capped player for the Croatian football team.

Perišić is currently recovering after he sustained an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury back in September. He is expected to be back on the pitch in April as he aims to be ready for Euro 2024 in Germany.
