2017 is shaping up to be a busy year for Croatian tourism if the announcement of new flights are anything to go by.
The latest to announce a new route launch is British low-cost airline Jet2. Commencing in July 2017, Jet2 will fly between London (Stansted) and Split on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast.
Next year Jet2 opens its new base in London and will be flying between London and Split twice weekly (Wednesdays and Sundays) starting on 2 July 2017.
Jet2 will operate a Boeing 757-200 on the Sunday flights, whilst a smaller Boeing 737-800 will carry passengers on the Wednesday flights, reports avioradar.hr.
There are now 47 flight connections on 7 carriers (British Airways, Croatia Airlines, easyJet, Jet2, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Thomson Airways and Wizz Air) between Split and London for 2017.
Jet2 earlier announced routes from Stansted to Durbovnik and Pula which are set to commence in May 2017.
