Nenad Bjelica named new NK Osijek coach

OSIJEK, 5 September 2020 – Former Dinamo Zagreb coach Nenad Bjelica has been named new coach of Croatian first division club NK Osijek, the club confirmed on Saturday.

Bjelica returns to Croatian football after just a few months from being released by Dinamo Zagreb where he became the club’s most successful ever coach.

The 49-year-old was born on Osijek and started his professional playing career there in 1991.

Bjelica began his coaching career back in 2007 at FC Kärnten, as player-caretaker manager. Apart from Dinamo Zagreb, he also coached Lustenau 07, WAC St. Andra, Austria Wien, Spezia, and Lech Poznan.
