One of Croatia’s best bartenders, Mario Majcen, has presented the Top 4 most popular cocktails in the country ahead of the Havana Club Cocktail Grand Prix which will be held later this week…
Mojito, Cuba Libre, Mai Tai and Sky Fall are the top 4 most sought-after cocktails in Croatia, and Majcen whipped them up at Club H20 in Zagreb as he promoted the upcoming competition in the capital.
“I have been a bartender for many years now and the job allows me to use all my creativity and gives me contentment that other jobs can not do. I am very happy to announce the biggest cocktail-making competition which will be held this year in five cities across Croatia. Zagreb will be first to host it at Club H20. I hope that this Thursday a large number of bartenders take part in this year’s Havana Club Cocktail Grand Prix,” said Majcen, who is not only the 4-time Croatian bartender champion, but is also a European champion.

Majcen, who works at Club H20, also came second at the world championships held in Cuba.
The Havana Club Cocktail Grand Prix is one of the biggest competitions for bartenders in the world. This year the nation’s top bartenders will compete in five cities in Croatia – Zagreb, Pula, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik. The winner will represent Croatia at the grand finale in Cuba.
The first competition will be held at Club H20 in Zagreb on 18 February 2016 starting at 19:00.
