Croatian midfielder Luka Modrić has been named in the FIFA FIFpro World XI, which was announced at a lavish gala in Zurich on Monday.

In early December, FIFPro announced the 55-man shortlist for the 2016 FIFPro XI and today the team was named at The Best FIFA Football Awards.

The team is stacked with players plying their trade in Spain’s La Liga, with Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and Juventus defender Dani Alves the only players in the World XI to play outside of Spain.
