25,996 tourists visited at spots from Brela to Gradac in June according to tourist office data, a drop of 9% from the same period last year. Whilst foreign visitor numbers were down 9%, the number of local tourists from Croatia had dropped 21% from June 2013. Makarska and Tučepi were the only towns along the Riviera which experienced growth in tourist numbers this year.
