Heatwave Coming!

swcIf you are in Croatia this weekend then the best place to be will definitely be near the sea…

The heat that has engulfed much of Croatia over the past week is set to be turned up a notch or two this weekend, forecasters predict. Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday are expected to reach 36 degrees celsius in parts of the country as a heatwave hits this weekend.

Authorities have issued warnings to citizens to take care in the extreme heat and to hydrate and stay out of the sun during the peak hours of the day.

American worldwide weather forecasting service Accuweather said last month that Croatia would experience above average temperatures this summer and be one of the hottest parts of Europe.
