Goran Ivanišević and Borna Ćorić have opened the 26th Konzum Croatia Open in front of a full stadium in Umag with help from former Liverpool midfielder Igor Bišćan and television and radio host Ivan Vukušić…

The result was overshadowed by the excellent atmosphere created largely by Ivanišević who thrilled the Umag crowd with his funny and sometimes hilarious exhibitions.

During the one hour exhibition match, Ivanišević faced off against Ćorić, which ended in a tie break. During the doubles match, Bišćan played with Ivanišević and scored a few effective points, but Vukušić demonstrated exceptional creativity with some help from Ćorić.

With a series of excellent moves Ivanišević proved that he is in excellent shape and that his skill and prowess can match Ćorić who is 25 years his junior. Even so, youth has proven to be stronger than experience this time, so the match ended with a close victory by the Ćorić-Vukušić double.

The youngest in the tournament joined the victory celebration at the ATP stadium in the end, drawn by the ice cream that Ivanišević shared with them.
