Free guided tours in 45 Croatian cities & towns this weekend

ZAGREB, 9 January 2020 – A chance this weekend to get to know some of the rich culture, hidden gems, legends, and stories behind the stories of cities and towns across Croatia on Sunday.

As part of the Croatian Tourist Guides Association’s ‘Get to Know Your Country’ project, free guided tours will be offered this Sunday, 12 January 2020 in 45 Croatian cities and towns.

Starting at 12:00 pm, professionally guided tours will start around the country to to commemorate the international recognition of Croatia which is marked on 15 January.

Citizens are invited to find out something new about the places where they live. Some of the cities and towns are taking part in the project include Split, Zagreb, Osijek, Rijeka, Pula, Motovun, Makarska, Korčula, Krk, Sinj, Knin, Drniš, Vodnjan, Sisak, Poreč, Pag and Čakovec.

The guided tours will be conducted in Croatian. For more details on locations taking park and meeting points, contact the local tourist office or visit the Croatian Tourist Guides Association Facebook page.
