Fermented dough, interesting ingredients and toppings, and an impressive interior are just some of the features of a new pizzeria opening in Zagreb on Friday.
The exclusive Franko’s Pizza & Par will open on Friday, 15 March in the Croatian capital.
Besides the interesting concept and interior, Franko’s Pizza & Bar distinguish themselves from other pizzerias with their interesting selection of toppings on the fermented dough used for the base.
“Special Italian flour is the main ingredient in the fermented dough that rests for at least 48 hours before it is baked in a special bread oven. The floor of the oven is made from special stone from Naples, Biscotto di Sorrento, which is used to get an optimum temperature,” Journal.hr writes.
Apart from the special dough, Franko’s will offer some unique toppings, such as boar mortadella, truffles, asparagus, nuts, balsamic vinegar or and pistachio and pumpkin cream. There is also a serious wine and cocktail card.
The interior was designed by architect Ivana Vrban.
