Famous Indian Spiritual Leader In Croatia

Famous Indian spiritual teacher and ambassador of peace Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, will visit Croatia from 18-20 March where he will hold a lecture titled “An evening of Wisdom and Meditation” in the Dalmatian city of Split that will be broadcast live to more than 50 countries around the world.

Shankar (56) was the founder of the Arts of Living Foundation, an NGO with UNESCO consultancy status that is active in over 150 countries. It will not be the first time that the southern Indian spiritual leader will be in Croatia. He visited also in 1996, 1998, and 2004. The main event of his 3-day trip, the “Wisdom and Meditation” lecture, will be held on 19 March and will be the largest  meditation session ever held in Croatia. On 18 March Shankar will present in Zagreb.

In 2010 Shankar was named by Forbes Magazine as the fifth most influential person in India.
