EuroBasket 2015: Croatia Beat Holland to Book Spot in Round of 16

Croatia has beaten the Netherlands 78-72 to book their spot in the round of 16 at the EuroBasket 2015…

Despite letting them back into the match at the end of third quarter, Croatia comfortably defeated a spirited Netherlands team in Zagreb on Wednesday night. Kruno Simon was Croatia’s top scorer with 18 points, followed by Dario Šarić (15) Bojan Bogdanović (13) and Ante Tomić with 8 points.

Croatia, who has won three of their four group matches at the Arena to secure second spot in their group behind Greece, will head to France after their final match against Georgia for the round of 16. Croatia’s opponent in the round of 16 is not yet known.
