American rock and roll band Eagles of Death Metal will perform in Zagreb at Tvornica Kulture, on Sunday, 8 May, 2022.

EODM, who had already sold out Boogaloo in Zagreb and the Tvornica Kulture, were set to play in March but the concert has been pushed back until May.

The band is coming to Croatia as part of the second part of the world tour, which marks 24 years of playing. The concert at Tvornica Kulture in Zagreb will be the only one in the region.

Known for their infectiously good energy and performances, the EODM live band also includes Jennie Vee on bass, Jorma Vik on drums and Joshua Jove on guitar.

Eagles of Death Metal was founded by best friends Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) in 1998 in California. The name came about when they wondered what the combination of Eagles and death metal would sound like, a genre they don’t play despite the name, but with unbounded frames they represent energetic rock with fierce guitar riffs and drums, playing with the aesthetics of dirty rock and witty lyrics.

One of the most entertaining rock’n’roll bands and giants of the genre. The albums “Peace, Love, Death Metal” (2004), “Death by Sexy” (2006) and “Heart On” (2008) launched them to the very top of the world guitar scene, while hits like “I Want You So Hard ”,“ I Got a Feelin ’(Just Nineteen)”, “Wannabe in LA”, “Miss Alissa”, “Cherry Cola”, “Only Want You” promise destructive energy.

The band also announced the release of a six-song EP, and “Eagles of Death Metal Presents A Boots Electric Christmas” will be released on November 19th. At the release, EODM’s Jesse “Boots Electric” Hughes with his alter ego will contribute to holiday classics such as “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Put A Little Love In Your Heart,” “Little Drummer Boy” or “Little Town Of Bethlehem” . “O Holy Night” will be recorded in a special acappella version, which will be sung by EODM’s Joshua Homme.

Tickets are on sale at a price of 170 kn. If there are any left, on the day of the concert the ticket price will be 200 kn. Tickets can be purchased at Dirty old shop, Rockmark, Aquarius and Dallas in Rijeka, at all Eventim outlets and online at www.eventim.hr. Also at Entrio outlets and online at entrio.hr.
