Croatian Students Shine at EuroMath Competition in Greece

The European Student Conference in Mathematics, or Euromath as its popularly named, saw the Croatian students take on the best young minds in Europe and come away with two gold medals. Ana Strikić from III. Gimnazija in Split won first place in the MATHfactor competition, whilst a team from Zagreb’s MIOC beat the competition in the MATHpresentation category.

“It was overall a very valuable experience. I’m glad that I received praise and I that I was recognised as someone with good mathematical and presentation skills, said Strikić.
