Grabar Kitarović will start he official visit to America in Minnesota, where she will take part in 20th anniversary celebrations of cooperation between Croatia and Minnesota via the ‘State Partnership Program”. Croatia’s president will meet with Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton during the visit.
Grabar Kitarović will then travel to Chicago where she will meet with the Croatian community, and take part in a humanitarian lunch to raise money for an organisation helping children with disabilities called ‘Bubamara’ from Croatia.
Grabar Kitarović will present the money raised at the charity event in Chicago to the organisation when she arrives back in Croatia.
After arriving back from America, the president will make a working-visit to Poland at the end of January.
