On the FAs official website, which follows the statement ‘We are putting an end to hooligans!’, a gallery of high-resolution photographs of those who were involved in the incident on Sunday night at the San Siro in Italy have been published. The Croatian FA are helping the police identify the culprits who are giving the majority of Croatian football fans a bad name around the world, and are calling on the government and institutes to follow suit to put an end to the troubles which effected Sunday’s EURO 2016 qualifier.
16 fans were arrested by Italian police after the match and will appear in an Italian court this week. UEFA charged both the Croatian and the Italian FA this week, with reports that Italian fans were also involved. (image: HNS / Drago Sopta)
