Croatia to Open Embassy in Kuwait

Kuwait_CityCroatia will open an embassy in Kuwait, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs…

Currently Croatia’s Ambassador to Qatar has also looked after affairs in Kuwait, but with a vision to strengthen economic relations with the Gulf nation, Croatia’s President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović has signed off on the new embassy.

“Opening of the embassy (in Kuwait) will have a political component, and businesses will have support, which is actually, economic diplomacy. The aim now is to open embassies for economic promotion,” Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Danijela Barišić said.

It is not yet known who Croatia’s Ambassador to Kuwait will be, said Tportal.
